Remove Navigation from specific page Template

Ok so I’m building a landing page, and I would like all the navigation removed from that template. I could do it with css and a page id but this template will be used by another person who does not want to edit the css for every new page built.
I was thinking I could just remove the nav function, however that is part of the header…
How do I remove the navigation from a specific page template when the navigation is called as part of a header that applies across the whole site.
I have looked as some other threads regarding this but I am not literate in php…
Removing the header from the page template as a whole would work as well if that is easier.
