    Hi there,

I’m getting a nag EVERYWHERE in my dashboard saying:

Thank you for installing our plugin WebP Converter for Media!
Would you like to speed up your website using our plugin?
Go to plugin settings and convert all your images to WebP with one click! Thank you for being with us!

    Speed up my website

I have clicked that button multiple times since the nag first appeared. I’ve watched the process as it began and completed. But your nag never goes away.

Your plugin is network activated and every time I run the application it goes to the network dashboard to run. So, I have to beleive the process includes images from the entire network. So, when I go to an individual subsite, there should be no further need for me to run the application. But the nag is there when I get to the subsite.

Please allow for removal of this unnecessary nag. It is on almost every page of the dashboard for subsites. You don’t allow for me to dismiss this nag except to click the button to “Speed up my website”, which I have already done.

You need to allow me to remove the nag, permenantly. You are hijacking my dashboard pages with your nag.

    Hello @ellsweb,

    Thanks for your message.

Can you edit the following file?
    /wp-content/plugins/webp-converter-for-media/src/WebpConverter.php

    Find the following line there:
    ( new Notice\NoticeFactory() )->init_hooks();

    Please remove this line.

In the next plugin update, I will add a patch that will fix this problem. Sorry for the current problems.

    Best,
    Mateusz

    Hi @mateuszgbiorczyk

    Thank you.

Why not have a checkbox in the settings area to remove this? If you do I’ll buy you that cup of coffee. It must work in multisite admin menu also please. ??
