Remove "My Sites" > "Main Site" on admin bar (multisite)

I am trying to remove the My Sites > Main Site menu on the wordpress admin bar for a logged in user that is not the super admin. I can’t seem to figure it out. My goal is to only have a link for them to the logged in blog dashboard and not the main site dashboard.

I would like to have a function statement for this so I can place it in a custom admin plugin I have created. Anyone have ideas on how to do this?
