I’m using a book’s ISBN number as a field for the seller and buyer. But on the search page, it lets users find the ISBN by entering a min and a max value, which doesn’t make much sense in this case.

Is it possible to remove the min/max fields on my search page for this particular extra field and just replace it with one field where they can enter the ISBN just once?

    Thanks!

  • Hi Dan,

Because you’re using a number field, the search page assumes you have a min/max range (ISBN is a not-as-common-case here. Mostly, folks use the number field for things like price, quantity, available, etc). You’d have to hack the plugin to remove that on a per-field basis at this time. But I agree that it could be useful, so we’ll add it to the development list for the future.
