I have recently developed my new website which includes Woocommerce. Being a newbee unfamiliar with all the ins-and-outs I initially created a MaxMind account and set the default customer location in Woocommerce to ‘geolocation’.

However, I now realize that I actually don’t need this because I only sell in Belgium and therefore have reset the standard customer location to ‘standard no location’.

On the Woocommerce ‘Integration’ tab I see that there is still a link to the database path which I cannot remove.

Can someone you point out to me how I can remove this and if there are any other actions required to completely remove any remaining MaxMind elements from my site?

  • Hi @gkwadraat,

The database file path isn’t something to worry about. The path is automatically defined for every installation and doesn’t mean Maxmind is integrated.

All that is required to disable Maxmind is ensuring the default customer location isn’t set to Geolocate and that Maxmind key is removed.

    I hope this helps!
