Try using Firefox with the Firebug add-on for this kind of CSS troubleshooting. Or use whatever developer tool is available in your web browser.

I’ve tried several of these and tested to change .wrapper, .site-content, page css, really scanned the css code. And even had two friends looking at the code but didn’t help.

Otherwise I wouldn’t contact this forum if I didn’t tried.

Use a Custom CSS Manager plugin to store your CSS changes, rather than modify the theme’s files.
