  • Hello @wbxpress,

by default StCR has the value <meta name='robots' content='noindex, nofollow'>. Did you ever enable the value to 'index, follow' and then returned to 'noindex, nofollow' ? If so, google and the rest of the search engines indexed you and there is no way to delete you indexed site unless you contact them and ask them to delete you from their servers.

If you never changed this, can you tell me how are you making your search in Google and your site?

    Regards.!!

    Thanks for your reply.

I have never changed the above values. I am using this plugin for years and never faced such problem. The problem occurred very recently.

If you search like “site:wbxpress.com” and see the last week’s results sorted by date, you may notice that approx 20 results are shown as “Manage Subscription – wbXpress”.

    Regards

Ok so your settings are OK. I did find the results. I also did the same for my site and google did not index my manage subscriptions. I found a suggestions that you may follow:

    https://webmasters.stackexchange.com/questions/45598/google-indexing-pages-with-noindex-meta-tag

And this is to ask google to remove your indexed pages:

By the way, do you have another plugin to help you with the SEO ?

I just added a line “Disallow: /comment-subscriptions/*” in robots.txt. Let’s see what happens next. I hope it will be solved.

I am using Genesis default SEO tools for SEO purpose.

The issue is related to Google. And not with this plugin. So, the topic may be marked as resolved.

    Thanks for your reply.

Thank your @wbxpress for letting us know.

    Best Regards and good luck.

    Hello @reedyseth:

This is to let you know that, the trick is working perfectly. And there are no more unnecessary search results appear now.

    Thanks.
