• I have had a problem on my site with malware. I’ve downloaded the site with Filezilla and scanned with anti-virus and anti-malware. Anti-malware found nothing, but anti-virus found and deleted some threats. So I now have a copy of the website on my computer with the threats removed, but if I upload it back via FTP, it won’t replace the infected files that are on the server, only the files that aren’t infected. I’m unable to just delete the entire website directory on the server, then upload again, because I was unable to download all the files due to permissions set by my hosting company until the malware has been removed. How can I download the website via FTP, but not a copy of the files, the equivalent of just cutting and pasting them from server to my computer?

    Backup your database and delete it;
    Backup your theme ;
