    Hi There

I am new to all this and hope I’m not repeating my question – but I cannot see that my question is answered already so apologies if I’ve missed it.

Can anyone advise please as to how to remove the log in link etc from the Index page under ‘Meta’?

I want to have a website with lots of info as opposed to a blog where people can post comments, therefore visitors do not need to see all unnecessary stuff.

I have found where to untick to allow people to contribute, but whilst I obviously need to be able to log in to the admin, don’t want visitors to see all that info (but will also need to understand How I would personally log in without that link).

    Does that all make sense?

    Any advise greatly appreciated, thanks.

    Hi

You must edit your sidebar.php file, which is usually where that stuff is found. Go through the file until you find the meta section and delete that code. Make a copy of the file before you change anything in case you need to revert back.

Thanks for that quick reply, I’ll give it a go.
