Remove link Not working

Hi,

Thanks for this great plugin, its great. Easy and powerful and easily customizable.
Best of the category among all i tested.

And about my question, i am following same steps as on below page to remove hyperlink from Title and other places, but not able to get result.
Please let me know if anything changed on these steps

I am placing this code in functions.php as stated.

May be i am using read more code also, so is it possible using 2 code blocks need some combination code or both can be used same time.
