I’m guessing this is very easy, but it’s escaped me.

I’m developing a page, where I’m using a gallery of photos strictly as links to other pages within the WP website. The red link icon is working perfectly when I hover over a picture. But I want to remove the link that normally takes you to the larger version of the photo. I just want the link to the separate page showing.

How do I click that off?
    Thanks!

    Thank you for your choice!

You can hide zoom button and if you specify link in image settings then your gallery thumbnails will be linked directly. I mean In the case if you have link and hover buttons turned off then gallery thumbnails work as image with link to some page.

Please try and let me know if you’ll have some other questions.

Thanks so much. With this information, and some additional tinkering, I was able to get the plug in to do exactly what I wanted!

    Hi @bigblueman,

This is exactly what I’m trying to do. How did you do it? Can you help?

I need the hover mode on with link button, but with the image linking to the same specified URL.

If I set the hover mode on to Options but set no link button to show, it actually links to the URL specified on the image, but I really need the button on.

    Thank you!
