Hello! Great plugin, yet it loads jquery everywhere. It is the only plugin that does that on my website.

Can you consider a vanilla js (or smth similar) approach in the near future?

    Thanks in advance ??

Hi. Thank you for the info. I thought I completely removed jquery dependancy from everything that is not related to WooCommerce (it’s required there). I had a look at the code and it seems that jquery is stated as a dependancy for the JS helpers file and consent banner file but there is no code that uses it (at least from what I saw during a quick search). I will have a better look and let you know here if it can be removed (probably yes).

    Hello RicaNeaga

Just a quick update on this topic. I will be posting a plugin update with jquery dependancy removed when the user is not using WooCommerce (it will require jquery when you install Woo). I’m now testing if everything works without it and so far it looks good.

    Have a nice day!

Hi. Update is ready. You can turn off the jquery dependancy in General Settings > Experimental. I checked everything twice to make sure that everything works ok without it but I want to make 1000% sure so I put them behind a feature toggle.
