    If you add a product to the cart

    (select size, click on personaliser, do you design then add to cart)

    When you arrive on the cart page :
    ? if you click on the cross to remove the product, (on the left, above the promo code field)
    ? it blinks, then the product will not be removed
    ? once translatepress is disabled, the product removal works again.

    You can try to do a compatibility test (ideally in a staging environment):

    ??*Briefly* disable all other plugins (except TranslatePress and WooCommerce) and enable the default Twenty Twenty theme. Please also disable all add-ons. If this fixes the problem, as it probably will, enable everything one by one, checking each time to see when the problem returns.

    Please let us know when you find the conflict so that we can take a look and see what we can do about it.

    Another user has mentioned the same issue and one of my colleagues has created a task for our development team regarding it, but as there are other problems that need their attention more, they haven’t been able to look at this one.
    Our development team is always trying to prioritize the problems depending on how many users are affected by them. However, due to the nature of development, new issues can always appear which might affect the interaction between TranslatePress and other plugins that are used by a lot of WordPress users.

    In short, this problem will eventually get fixed in future versions, but unfortunately, we don’t have a timeframe for when that will happen.

    I’m really sorry for this inconvenience.

    I just disabled all the plugins and switched to the default theme and the issue remain.

    Quitte a big bug if you ask me as it compromise an important function of WooCommerce.

    Thank you for trying to see if disabling everything else is causing this.

    We understand that this is an important function of WooCommerce and we will get it fixed in future versions, but right now there are other more important things (as in more users being affected by) that require our development team’s focus.

    and there are no way to investigate this or try to debug it on my side ?

    also could you point me in the direction of the other persons having that issue so I can see if the figured it out ?

    There is no need for us to investigate on your side. We have already succeeded in cloning the other person’s site where this error happened and our development team will use it as a starting point for figuring out why the problem happens.

    Hi,

    I come with news from our developers.

    They investigated your issue and discovered that it is generated by the “ %s ” (from TRP_GETTEXT_FR_FR database table) string that was translated incorrectly. This is due to a previous issue that has already been resolved (in the latest versions of our plugin). But because of automatic translation, the corresponding string was not regenerated in your database table.

    As a solution, please, install and activate the plugin WP Data Access –> click on the tab and search for the table TRP_GETTEXT_FR_FR –> click explore and search for the string “ %s ” and remove the corresponding entry from the table –> Click submit and it should work after, as the string will be correctly generated this time.
