    Hello!

    I’ve created a Twenty Fifteen child theme, but whatever I modify in my style.css get overridden by the inline styles in the tags:

    <style id='twentyfifteen-style-inline-css' type='text/css'>

    Is there a way to remove this?
    Why is it even there if there’s a separate css file?

    I’d very much appreciate your help.

  • Not sure how this topic is “resolved” – there’s no solution posted and I’m having the SAME problem. Cannot find where the code for the twentyfifteen-style-inline-css.

    Have checked code in header – but it’s not obvious.

    What was the solution?

    For some reason, WP adds inline styles if you edit the appearance in the backend. This way your css will always be overwritten. So just leave the default settings, and change the appearance only in the css file.
