Remove hyperlink from the author name

    Hi @ashbrooks,

    Try adding # in the User Profile > User Website. It will remove the profile link for that specific user.

    Thanks for your reply. I added “#” in the User Profile > User Website. Hope that is what you meant. The link is not removed but the link takes me to the page with the URL “about:blank#blocked” which probably is not the best user experience. Is it not possible to have no hyperlink on the Author’s name to avoid this situation completely? Thank you.

    See if it works when you add this line in wp-config.php

    define('ABH_AUTHORLINK', false);

    it should deactivate the links for all users.

    It seems that you cannot have a blank link, BUT you can just simply add in your author bio page (assuming you have one). Just go to the user profile in WP and put in the author bio page as the ‘website’
