Hi, thanks for a good Woocommerce FAQ plugin with Schema rich snippets.

Is it possible to remove the HTML code from mainEntity acceptedAnswer text?

If you check your plugin in the official Google test tool for rich snippets you’ll notice that if you added 2 FAQ with 2 replies, the replies have the <p> tag attached to it. It’s irrelevant and can alter the correct impression of the FAQ in the SERP

    Thanks

    Hi @techwpdrift

Thank you for the query. We are going to add an option to remove the HTML from the rich snippet.

We are going to publish the feature in our next release.

We have just released a new version with the support of schema description type. Please go to the schema settings through Woo FAQ > Settings > Schema and select description type as description without HTML and follow the schema markup in the product page.

Hope you are happy with the new feature.

Hi, thanks but it seems to fail if we select to don’t show HTML in schema description

PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function woo_feed_strip_all_tags() in /plugins/faq-for-woocommerce/includes/class-faq-woocommerce-schema.php:92\nStack trace:\n#0 /wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(303): FAQ_Woocommerce_Schema->display_schema('')

Can you please verify it? If we add FAQ to a Woocommerce product, WordPress then returns an error message when we load the product page.
