Remove Howdy from Profile

    Hi

    The profile pages shows “Howdy_User” as the greeting, which is quite informal. I would like to change it to “Welcome”. I know howdy is used in WP as global greeting, but could you point me where to edit (core files) in tutor plugin to change it.

    Hello

    to change the word howdy you will have to do a little php customization. To do that please go to your wordpress installation folder wp-content > plugins > tutor > templates folder and open the dashboard.php file. On the 51st line you will fine the text howdy https://prntscr.com/s1y3w7 change that to “welcome” and save the change. Make sure you do the same when the next update is released as the change will be removed once you update the plugin.

    Thanks a lot, I understand this changes with new updates, could you if possible add this as a plugin option, coz the default “Howdy” is so informal and cannot be used in most cases as most of these websites are professional websites.
