Remove homepage featured boxes

  • Hi I would like to be able to do the following:

    1) remove 1 of the featured boxes so that the number of boxes displayed goes from 3 to 2.

    2) I would like the 2 boxes that are displayed to be centered.

    3)Is it also possible to set a custom link instead of to a page as at present I can only link to the main shop page but would like to link to the actual product.

    I am not sure if that is the solution you are looking for, but what I did as a work around, was to disable the featured area, and create a two column section with featured images + header + paragraph on the page (homepage) itself. This was fairly straightforward with the gutenberg editor. Needs a bit of CSS styling to go with it, but does the job. Hope this is helpful to someone.
