Remove hierarchy from a Taxonomy Multi-Select Dropdown

    Hi,

    I have a taxonomy with 3 levels like so
    Food
    – Fruits
    — Bananas
    — Oranges
    — Apples

    How can I display a Taxonomy Multi-Select dropdown under edit profile that will show only:
    Food
    — Bananas
    — Oranges
    — Apples

    or

    Bananas
    Oranges
    Apples

    Basically, how can I hide the hierarchy from these kind of dropdowns?
