    Hello,

Based on your product comparison table (https://rankmath.com/kb/woocommerce-seo-feature-comparison/), Hidden WooCommerce Products can be removed from the sitemap. However, this does not seem to happen automatically nor am I able to find a setting to remove Hidden products from the sitemap. I am only able to do this manually for each product one at the time.

Can you explain how I can remove the Hidden products from the sitemap automatically?

    Thank you so much!

    Hello @thewebtailors,

    Thank you for contacting support.

If this is not done automatically on your website it’s likely that the sitemap is cached.

Can you please follow these steps?
    1. Flush the Sitemap cache by following this video screencast:
    https://i.rankmath.com/pipRDp

    2. Exclude the Sitemap files of the Rank Math plugin in your caching plugin. The cache could be via a plugin or from the server. For plugins or Cloudflare, please follow this article:
    https://rankmath.com/kb/exclude-sitemaps-from-caching/

    That should fix the issue.

Please let us know if that does not. We are here to assist.

Thanks for your reply! I cleared the cache as described but Hidden WooCommerce products still show in the sitemap. I see that the last modified date changes, so it is not a caching issue.

I also tried it out on two different websites that have WooCommerce and RankMath installed and on both websites, products for which the visibility is set to Hidden still show up in the sitemap.

Only when I manually mark the individual product as “No Index” in the RankMath Robots Meta settings, the product is removed from the sitemap.

    Hello @thewebtailors,

    Sorry for the confusion.

To exclude the hidden products from the sitemap, you will have to enable the Noindex Hidden Products option in WP Dashboard > Rank Math SEO > General Settings > WooCommerce.

However, this option is only available in the PRO version and in the Free version, you will have to set the hidden products to Noindex manually to exclude them from the sitemap.

We will get the KB updated to avoid any confusion in the future.

Don’t hesitate to get in touch in case you need our assistance with anything else.
