    Hi there,

as per instruction I’ve created a confirmation page and selected that page from the dropdown in the settings for Confirmation page. Works just fine!

Still, the ‘hidden’ page (aptly called MailPoet Page) is still there, even in the front-end: rooturl/?mailpoet_page=subscriptions. That I don’t want but I cannot find the option to remove this hidden page alltogether or at least de-publish it.

    Can you help me out?

    Regards,
    Ren

  • Hi @rencosch

Even though it’s there, that’s just a matter of not linking to it. Unfortunately, that page can’t be “disabled”. If you want to remove it from the sitemap, here’s how: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/333-removing-mailpoet-pages-from-wordpress-xml-sitemaps

Hi, thanks for your quick reply. I’ve tried the code snippet but it doesn’t seem to work with a sitemap that is generated by plugin Yoast. Can you help out? I want to keep using Yoast for generating the sitemap and not switch to the more basic WP sitemap.

The answer on my own question can be found here.

Well, that’s not true. The question is not answered since the Mailpoet confirmation page is not a separate post type which you can exclude from Yoast/sitemap, nor can I determine the post id of the Mailpoet confirmation page to exclude it by using the suggested code in function.php.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It can achieved by using WP Sitemap Page, to solve my own ticket.
