Remove Header image on all the sub pages

Go to Appearance >> Header >> and remove the default image. However, this will do it on “all” pages including the front page. So if you want a slider or an image on the front only, use a widget in the Banner widget position and a plugin like Display widgets to show it only on that page. If you use Jetpack, you can use their widget feature for that as well.

I am not finding the option to select remove default image is there another option that will allow to remove banner and wiget (top page wigets) from all pages but home page

@coffeejaye ….it should be there near the bottom with a big grey button labeled as “Remove Header Image”

I am not finding that option Appearance>>Header the only options are choose file or choose image….also on y page I had to plae the image for display in the banner wide wiget

I should also mention that removing that background image does it globally, so if you need it or a different image for the front page only, then you will need to use a widget to publish an image to the front page.

Your login didn’t work for me again, but because you gave me your site’s link, now I know what you are referring to. The banner image you are using can be published to any page(s) but you need a plugin to do that…to select what pages. I recommend using Display Widgets which lets you do just that, and easily too.

Is there a way to have a specific image on the homepage and different images on the sub pages? If not, does the purchased version have this ability?

It’s a plugin called “Display Widgets”

I uploaded the display widget and was already using image widget. Now I can change header images on each page but they are not displaying the correct height. Is there any other settings I need to change? Is there any documentation that explains how to set all this up?
