Remove Header Image from a single page

Also does anyone know how to adjust the height of the header image on a specific page?
(seems to have a mind of its own, adjusting to varied depths).

You can remove the header image from pages that are not the homepage with the following CSS:

body.page:not(.home) .hero {
   background: inherit;
}

Each page has a specific body class with the page ID. Example page-id-156. You can use CSS to adjust the header image on specific pages by utilizing this page-id class.

Example:

body.page-id-369 .hero .hero-inner {
   padding: 0 4%;
}

Which would alter the header size on the following page:

Hi Evan, This has been really helpful, thank you. I can remove the header image from other pages, but I’d like the background color I set to show up INSTEAD of the header image. Right now my home page header (mindstreamconnect.com) needs white text. When I remove the header from other pages, you can’t see the text, obviously. Is there a way to allow the background color in my main header settings to show without the image on top?

Hi @lh514,

You can remove the image on the homepage so it’s just the header, no image, and the background color, by slightly altering the first code snippet I posted above.

body.page.home .hero {
   background-image: none;
}
