Is there any way to get rid of the # on all orders?

I have connected to Royal Mail via an API and it is using the order number (i.e. #12345). For it to connect with my workflow I need the order number that’s passed to be 12345 rather than #12345

Still looking for help if anyone is available. I was advised to come here from WooCommerce’s support ??

Any chance you can provide some more context? How are you retrieving order numbers?

    Kind regards,

    Hi!

Royal Mail is taking the WooCommerce order number as #12345 for example. We would like to remove the # on WooCommerce’s end so only 12345 is pushed across.

@mattinventive The order numbers in WooCommerce do not have # prepending to them in the database, they only have the # for a visual representation. The plugin you are using to pass/retrieve the order numbers for Royal Mail must be adding the # into the order numbers as it’s retrieving them.

    Hi there,

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
