Remove "go to" when no first letter sorting is used

if possible could you make a extra variable to remove the “go to” when no letter sorting is used? (https://voliere-info.nl/verzorging/) it looks a little weird now ??
and secondly, i would love to see a thumbnail option next to the index. This plugin makes way better indexes than stock wordpress can do for me!
