remove gallery preview from index

  • Hello,
    Can anyone point me what file and how should I edit it so I can remove the code that is calling gallery previews for the posts on the index page?

    I don′t want my index posts do show the galleries. I prefer to have the galleries only shown when you get to the single page.

  • You will probably need to start customising your theme’s index.php template file – possibly via a child theme. What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

    I am using the The HTML5 Reset Theme.
    I already started costumising index.php, style.css, header.php, footer.php, etc.

    But now I got to the point where I want to edit how the single.php would look like and tried to put in a gallery. but it appears on the index article and I wish it didn’t

    Galleries will be an important part of this website but should show up until you get to the single.php

    I’m sorry but as you are using a commercially supported theme, you need to seek support from the theme’s developers – paid or otherwise. We only support themes downloaded from www.remarpro.com here.
