But that only removes the borders on the sides. How do I remove the top and bottom-most borders?
Also, how do I change the line pattern and color for the top menu? The one containing “Home, Contact Us” etc.

To change the color and style of the menu pattern border, edit this file in your theme folder: images/menu-border.png. Keep the image the same size and just resave to make it easy for you.

One more thing, there’s still a shadow on both sides of the top menu. How do I remove that?

do you mean the background on your top menu? the vertical line on both side?

@felissaarias: You’re supposed to start your own thread.

For that you need to edit footer.php file. You should never do it directly though, only via child theme. So create a child theme, copy over footer.php and make your edits.
