Remove from front page the section of recent posts

    Hi, many thanks for the wonderful theme!
    I love the front page style and wish to remove the section of “recent posts” above the footer. Could you please tell me how?

    Hi,

    You can do that using child-theme procedure.

    Make a Child-Theme first

    After creating that create a file name this front-page.php
    Put the code in the front-page.php file and save this code.

    Thats it your are done.

    Hey weblizar!

    I really would love to stop my blog posts from appearing on the home page. I have spent HOURS (literally) trying out different things people suggest on these forums. I’ve never asked a question before because usually, i can figure it out via other peoples suggestions. Not this time…

    I have created the child theme as instructed above. I also created the front-page.php file. For some reason, blog posts still appear on my static landing page. Do i need to edit something in my front-page.php code?

    Please help!
