Remove font-size formatting from Text Widget

Is there a way to remove the font-size formatting for text in the Text Widget?

Use Case: If I added a Text Widget and some text within it, then it would default to Body text size. But if I edit the text in the Text widget, it inserts some [span style=font-size:xxpx] tags with font size. I want to remove those font size tags.
