“Remove Files From Server Not Working”

  • Hi, I’m finding that the plugin is correctly copying the images to my S3 bucket, but it does not remove the local copy on my server.

    I have checked the debug log at srv/users/serverpilot/log/violet-grey/violet-grey_php7.3.error.log and there is nothing referencing the plugin.

    Is this a bug in the plugin or something my end?

    Thinking it could be to do with permissions to delete files on the server.

    Very frustrating right?

    I understand they want people on the paid plan to receive proper support, which is fair enough. But this just feels like it’s broken and they’re not addressing it ??

    Could you post diagnostics from WP Offload Media (you posted diagnostics from WP Migrate DB)?

    Also, can you turn on WP_DEBUG and WP_DEBUG_LOG and try the process again to see if anything is logged to the debug.log?

    I also encountered the same problem, Remove Files From Server does not work, the image files remain in /upload
    I tried other plugins (Media Cloud), this plugin can correctly delete local files
