Remove file upload from Replies form

  • Hi,

    Thanks for this great plugin.

    I need help making some little changes.
    Currently the file upload is shown on both topic and reply forms. I don’t want it on the Reply form, can you please guide me through how to remove it from Reply form?

    Plugin currently doesn’t have option for that. I will include this in next update.

    Okay thanks. I managed to hide that using css.

    But I have one more question, shall I ask here or create a new thread for that?

    In Single forum page of BBPress where all the topics are displayed.
    I want to trim the description of topics on that page so that users will have to open the single topic page to see the full description and comments etc.

    But when I do so (trim the description to 200 characters) the file attachment does not work correctly and breaks the html. It only works fine when full description is shown.

    I am not sure how the full topic is displayed in the forums, that is not bbPress standard behaviour, or how do you trim the content. But, attachments are added to the end of the topic/reply content.
