Remove featured image from post!
-
Hi! I have been trying to figure this out all weekend with no success.
I want my featured image to display as a thumbnail on my home page but NOT in my single posts. I have been told to edit my single.php but there is not much code in it. I’m using a child of twenty twelve.
Here is my website:
https://betterhousekeeper.com/
Here is a link to the thumbnail showing over the title of the post (want this removed):

Single.php file:
<?php
/**
* The Template for displaying all single posts
*
* @package WordPress
* @subpackage Twenty_Twelve
* @since Twenty Twelve 1.0
*/get_header(); ?>
<div id=”primary” class=”site-content”>
<div id=”content” role=”main”><?php while ( have_posts() ) : the_post(); ?>
<?php get_template_part( ‘content’, get_post_format() ); ?>
<nav class=”nav-single”>
<h3 class=”assistive-text”><?php _e( ‘Post navigation’, ‘twentytwelve’ ); ?></h3>
<span class=”nav-previous”><?php previous_post_link( ‘%link’, ‘<span class=”meta-nav”>’ . _x( ‘←’, ‘Previous post link’, ‘twentytwelve’ ) . ‘</span> %title’ ); ?></span>
<span class=”nav-next”><?php next_post_link( ‘%link’, ‘%title <span class=”meta-nav”>’ . _x( ‘→’, ‘Next post link’, ‘twentytwelve’ ) . ‘</span>’ ); ?></span>
</nav><!– .nav-single –><?php comments_template( ”, true ); ?>
<?php endwhile; // end of the loop. ?>
</div><!– #content –>
</div><!– #primary –><?php get_sidebar(); ?>
<?php get_footer(); ?>
