Remove featured image from post

  • Hello,
    I am looking at the best way to display my artwork on my website using Twenty Twenty One. I found that a standard post type using a featured image works best, but my issue is that the featured image displays on the top of the post itself and I only want it to show on the posts listings as a thumbnail.

    My question is this:

    How can I remove the featured image from all posts?

    I figured it out, you can remove line <?php twenty_twenty_one_post_thumbnail(); ?> from line 18 of template-parts/content/content-single.php

    Please confirm that this is the best way.
