Remove featured image from grid child pages

    On this page I like the use of the grid page and the featured image to better illustrate each page. However, when you follow the link to any of the child pages the featured image appears behind the title in an enlarged form; this is undesired. Is there a way to retain the images in the grid page and remove the featured image behind the title of the child pages?
