  • You need to create a folder called tribe-views within your theme directory. Next you’ll copy over your single-event.php file. Make the changes and save. Our Themer’s Guide can help as well.

    Hope that helps!

ok i did that but theres still no change….

why this folder when its described that way in the guide?

    3. Drop the copied template file you want to customize in its corresponding folder in your theme directory

For example, if you have made a copy of this this file:
    ?/wp-content/plugins/the-events-calendar/src/views/single-event.php

…then you will drop that copied file directly into the /tribe-events folder you created in your theme in Step 2.

Sorry, that was a typo… It is indeed /tribe-events. Are you using a child theme?

Awesome! Glad you got it figured out.

Sorry about that, didn’t mean to confuse you ??

I’m going to go ahead and close out this thread — don’t hesitate to create a new one any time you need help!

    Ed ??
