Remove featured blog post from static front page in twenty fourteen theme

  • I set my home page in twenty fourteen theme to a static page but a blog post title and its category shows up on between my menu and the content. I’d like to get ride of that.

    Have searched Google and the forums so hopefully haven’t missed something obvious! Would love some guidance as I’m sure the solution is simple.

    Worked it out.
    By default the template shows any sticky posts as featured content on the front page. You can choose a specific category to feature, or else change all posts to not be sticky.
