remove expired transient options

    Hello,
    What are the consequenties by deleting point 1 and 2.
    1. i have 32 expired transient in my database.
    2. and 501 orphaned messages meta-data.

    What possible to do.

    Hi Hennie,

    Apologies for the delayed reply. As regards about transiet options, they are nothing more than temporary options which are kept in the database for a certain period. These are safe to remove.

    As for orphaned message meta-data, the data can be left behind from message etc. no longer exist but still remain in the DB and these too are safe to remove.

    The consequences of running the optimization is that, depending the site of your site, you could see speed improvements. We have auto ticked some safer options but Always make a backup of the db before proceeding.
