Remove empty months on grid dropdown

  • Hi, firstly this plugin is fantastic and I appreciate you providing such excellent work.

    My question is, I have an event on my calendar in April and have a second event on my calendar in December and currently on the month dropdown on the month grid view it displays all the months in between April and December, even though these are empty and don’t have any events.

    Is it possible for the dropdown to only show months than have events within them, ie hiding all empty months.

    Thanks for your positive feedback about the plugin!

    It’s funny you should ask for this… it’s how the plugin worked originally, but I had numerous requests to change it to the way it is now.

    I’ll investigate what it would take to add this back in as an optional setting.

    I apologize for the delay in addressing this fix. These are difficult times we are living in.

    One thing about this that I’d like to get your opinion on: the way the plugin used to work, all of the months between the first and last event were listed in the dropdown, but months with no events just had a “No events found” message instead of an empty grid.

    It sounds to me like what you’d like is actually different — the dropdown itself would only include months that have events. Is that correct?

    I think this would be fairly easy to implement. I just want to make sure I’m solving the right problem first. Thanks.
