Remove Employer from Registration

  • Hey, I would like to make the registration form be exclusively for Job Seekers. Basically I have no need for the dropdown selection at all on the registration form. Even when I set visitors can register as employer to “NO” I still see it as an option. How can I make it that the default value of the field is just job seeker then hide the dropdown all together. Is there an option within the configuration that I am not seeing or do I need to edit the code? Thanks, awesome plugin btw.

    What I have done so far is opened wpjobportal-hooks.php. On line 82 I added “selected” to the Job Seeker option. Then I plan to display none it with CSS to not confuse people registering lol. I can confirm it worked haha. But When I update the plugin down the line, this is inefficient. So I wanted to see if you awesome people had an option somewhere I am missing. Or if you had a better way for me to do this that still allows for updates.
