Remove Discus from a static page

I’ve had 5 hours of trouble trying to remove Discus from a static page. I’m using the theme Jenny 1.5.2.
Most of the answers online about this are on older themes and don’t work. The ones I found most realistic were

They did not work either. Any ideas?
I really want to get the Discus out of the pages on my website. Looks like nobody else except people using Tumblr (whose solution doesn’t help) are having the same problem as me. I really hope it isn’t because of my theme.
