    Hi,

We run a small webshop, and we’d like to be able to disable the second step in the Bpost process . The SHM admin settings for delivery time are currently set to ‘not specified’, but now the plugin tells the customer the parcel will be delivered next working day +1 (I know I can configure this).

Due to practical reasons, the parcel could be delivered to our customer on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday when the order was placed on Monday (we try to deliver asap, but it could take up to 2 working days).

Furthermore, if a client chooses bank transfer, the delivery date can never be correct, because a client can delay making the payment for 7 days. So the coolest feature request would be that you can tell the Bpost plugin which payment options are ‘insta-pay’ and which are ‘non insta-pay’. This way maybe you can choose to disable the second step in the shipping process for non insta-pay payment gateways.

But I think you should let the end user decide if they want to show the expected delivery date or not. Also, does this date counts national holidays and so on?

    Sorry for the long post:).

    Best regards,

    Pieter

We understand your request, however those are settings (to be) handled in SHM backends.
Once available in SHM backends, we extend the (admin) plugin settings so that you can “trigger” or not those features.
We forward your request to the team in charge of handling SHM at bpost.

Request now sent towards bpost SHM team.
Once we’ll get feedback from them, we will notify you.

    Hi,
bpost understands your idea, but this is unfortunately not possible. bpost enables to use or not the date picker. If it’s not possible to deliver on time due to payment delayed (bank transfer), it’s the responsibilities of the merchand to inform the client that the expected delivery date is under condition (payment received).

    Regards,
    SLG
