Remove Default Title

Is there a way to deactivate the Default Title area in this theme? I was tyring out the different layouts, and uploaded my logo image. Now even though I have reset the section settings (Default Title Options) the image is still displaying.

I have tried hiding the Page Title Area on the page settings in the Gutenberg editor.

I have the rest of the page looking exactly the way I want it, but I don’t want the image space that is created with the Title area.
