Remove "day" from date in post

I have looked everywhere, unfortunately I am a junior (at best) programmer. I can tweak a few things here and there in a theme, but for the life of me I can’t figure this out.

My website thedesertfamily.com is an actual print magazine. I need my posts to reflect the issue instead of the date in each post. For instance, I need the post to have under the title, “November 2013 issue” instead of “November 29, 2013.”

Hope this makes sense, any help would be appreciated.
