Remove ‘customize buttons’ from share on front end

    Other than adding ‘hacky’ CSS to hide it, there seems no way to remove the ‘customize buttons’ link from showing to admins on frontend share buttons. It breaks layouts, and frankly would never be used.

    Are there any plans to add an option to remove this text?

    @erania-pinnera Any site with JetPack share options are enabled and you are a logged in admin (manage_options) capability.

    There’s not much point in sharing our specific URLs with you, as you don’t have an admin account, so the text won’t be displayed.

    Note: I’m currently hiding it with CSS, but shouldn’t have to do that — It would be much better if JetPack simply didn’t output it in the first place, or at least gave an option to remove it (either a backend toggle, or even a filter to use).

    Hi Roger

    Thanks for the screenshot. It looks like something in your theme may be causing it to display oddly. On most themes the link just sits below the buttons:

    We don’t have any plans to remove that link or add a toggle or filter, so hiding it with CSS is your best bet if you don’t want to see it.
