Remove Custom Post Type Base From Breadcrumbs

    I have a site using Custom Post Types for a Portfolio (Avada Theme).

    I need to break the Portfolio into two: Gallery and Products.
    Everything runs smoothly until I hit the breadcrumbs on the Single Post. The breadcrumbs show the base “Portfolio”, and not just the category.

    After changing the setting for “Taxonomy to show in breadcrumbs for post types” my breadcrumbs are:

    Home > Portfolio > Category > Post Title

    My goal is to get to:

    Home > Category > Post Title
