Remove custom image size!

  • Hi there,
    since Complianz 6 (or maybe before I’m not sure), we have a new image size cmplz_banner_image (350×100 pixels). You should not add this kind of option for a cookie banner plugin because it has huge impact on disk storage.
    Let’s say we have 10 000 files in your library and you regenerate thumbnails (WooCommerce does this by himself for instance), it’s a lot of new files that Complianz will add on the server.

    Hi @maigret, thanks for reporting. In response to an earlier report of this we have created an update which resolves this. It will be released with the 6.1.1 update.

    The banner size itself is necessary to prevent heavy weight banners, but we were able to limit the image size generation to the banner editor only.

    Alternatively, you can remove the images using “Disable Generate Thumbnails”
