In a recent update, there is now a Conversios logo appended to the footer of the website, which breaks our template. Is there an option to turn this off? There is no class on the element either so it can’t easily be hidden with CSS. Is this appended code required for the plugin to work?

    Hey @gaillimh

Thank you for creating this thread.

Yes, you can disable it in the plugin settings under “Pixel Settings” tab.

You will find “Trusted Partner Badge Settings” under which you will have an option to disable it.

Here is the screenshot for your reference https://prnt.sc/qfVqYN72vL43

This should never have been activated by default. Such a shady move.

It’s understandable that you may feel frustrated that this feature was activated by default.

You do have the flexibility to remove this feature if you feel uncomfortable with it. Most of the features in the plugin allow users to customize their settings and preferences, and this feature is likely no different.

If you’re unsure how to remove this feature you can follow the same steps available in this thread to disable the same

I’m incredibly irritated by this move. I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to figure out how to remove it after updating my plugins. I had to do a web search and finally came upon this thread. You broke my template and overwrote the bottom of my footer.

Any chance that I would have ever upgraded to Pro is now zero. I’m actively looking for an alternative to your product.

    So shady.

Such feature should be deactivated by default, as its pretty fraudy. Beside you cant turn it off, when you dont do your “Get started” thing. Guess time to throw this plugin finally out. When I installed that years ago it was different, so idk why I have to get started again, but as the site dont need any analytics junk anymore its good to have a reason to remove this plugin, client will understand and can track their data via internal statistics from Woo

Edit: I’m now free from this problematic Plugin

I think you misunderstand why people are upset about that.

This isn’t some advertisement for you in the Admin area (whats completely okay, as you have to earn money somehow). That’s self promotion on the public area of a site, which even the customers see. Calling yourself trusted partner, without consent by default after an update isn’t really make most users of that plugin happy.

Yes you can disable it, but our point is, that this is something which should be OFF by DEFAULT, especially when it comes with an update
