Remove Comments on Website

can be done from within the dashboard;

some smaller edits might need to be made in your theme’s template files – post the name of your theme.

First, disable all comments in future posts/pages via Settings -> Discussion. Then, uncheck “Allow comments” in the Discussion pane on each Edit Page. If you do not see this pane, click Screen Options at the very top of the page and check “Discussion”.

Thank you, I didn’t see the Screen Options!
BTW, I did search this topic in forum search but they all had very confusing answers requiring editing the PHP files, etc.

You may still have to amend some part of your theme but that tends to vary from theme to theme. The only thing you can do now is see if the changes that you’ve now made are sufficient for your theme.
