• Just a heads up :
it seems like ‘Remove Comments’ under General/HTML > Html causes wp-db.php issue if you disable it !!

I couldn’t find the issue online because it would still work with this option disabled but it was different on local. it wouldn’t even the website load.

I don’t think it’s related, as the ‘Remove Comments’ remove the comments on outputted html, while wp-db.php is the database class.

That’s why I believe there might be a problem with this option. to reproduce the issue :

    1. Install Easyphp (I’m using v14.1)
    2. Install wordprss and your plugin.
    3. Select Yes for ‘Remove Comments’ and you’ll hit the error :
    This site can’t be reached

When I set it to No I can easily have access to my website on local.

I also had some errors regarding comments and commentmeta tables.

I had to disable each option one by one in order to find the problem-making area but like I said everything works fine online with that option set to Yes.

    Same issue but Online.
