Remove comment block from About page

  • The Leave a reply / box is on the About page and I want to remove it. I am watching a Bluehost tutorial video that says turn off discussion. However my dashboard does not have the same “tools” as is seen in the tutorial.

    So how can I remove the Leave a reply box from the About page?

  • Go to pages>in About page select quick edit then disable the check box of Allow Comments..

    Go edit your About page.

    If you scroll down and do not see a section for Discussion, then scroll back up to the top of the screen and click the gray tab in the upper right corner that reads Screen Options. A section will slide down, with check boxes that select what sections appear in your page editor.

    Check the box labeled Discussion, then click the Screen Options tab again to hide that pull-down.

    Now when you scroll down, you should see a section called Discussion at the bottom of your page editor. Uncheck the box that’s labeled Allow comments and click the Update button.
